A Perfect Game Day Starts with DART

Skip the headaches. Make the opening tip.

Game after game, DART is here with the assist -- giving you a straight shot to the AAC.

 

Just follow these tips:

  1. Head to Victory: DART provides daily service to Victory Station via the Green Line, the Orange Line and the TRE*. The AAC is a short walk from the station. Need to transfer from another line? From the Red or Blue lines, you can transfer at any of the downtown stations, including Pearl/Arts District, St. Paul, Akard and West End Station.
  2. Choose GoPass for your rowdy, proud and loud crew: To make your game-day experience as smooth as possible, DART recommends buying your passes with the GoPass® app. It’s the most convenient way to pay your fare, particularly if you’re traveling in a large group.
  3. MFFLs, activate: If you use the GoPass app, make sure to activate your pass before you board. Day passes are only valid on the day of activation.
  4. Have a game plan: DART encourages you to allow plenty of travel time so that you make tipoff. For best results, plan your trip in the GoPass app so you get real-time travel information. You don’t want to miss a minute of the action!
  5. Leave your car behind: FREE parking is available at many DART facilities. Skip the hassle and expense of parking near the AAC -- find the Park & Ride nearest you by clicking here.

  1. Spread the floor: Just like a great offense uses spacing, DART advises you to spread out along the platform as your train approaches and use all available doors for boarding. Also, please note that the center section of each rail vehicle has low floors, making it convenient for boarding wheelchairs, strollers, and anything else with wheels.
  2. Choose contactless: Don’t want to use GoPass? You can still avoid the need to stop at one of DART’s Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) by choosing one of DART’s other contactless payment methods. You can buy your DART pass with a GoPass® Tap card, a contactless credit or debit card, or a payment-enabled mobile device. Just tap and go!
  3. Tap first: Make sure to tap your contactless card or mobile device to a reader on a DART Rail platform or bus prior to boarding. Limit one tap per contactless card or device per rider (each rider must use a unique card or device).
  4. Show your DART fandom: Your contactless card or digital wallet serves as your ticket and proof of payment if fare enforcement asks to see your pass.
  5. Consider an alternate route: Bus route 103, route 106 and route 028 also provide daily service within walking distance of American Airlines Center. Consult the DART Trip Planner to see if bus service may work better for your trip. Just be sure to note the length of the walk involved.

*Please note: The TRE does not provide service on most Sundays. Consult their website for schedules and more details.
